Message negative effects - all I am saying is that OEM wiring has worked for a couple hundred people and failed on very few. I did state that if using higher amperage pumps or in special applications where the pumps will be operated at full duty for extended periods of time then one should consider beefing up the wiring. I'm starting to feel like you are just arguing with me to argue and missing the point that for the vast majority of cars running the OEM wiring it has not been a problem.

Considerations should be taken into account if higher amperage pumps are used and proper installation as well as verification of operation should also be part of the process. FWIW, our controller has never been the issue here - it is a clean plug and play installation vs. the wiring, relay, drilling holes and mounting additional electrical terminals into the bulkhead, & pressure switch configuration approach. With the newer pumps that are on the market and with the increases in boost pressures we are producing (which requires higher fuel pressures) the requirements for addressing other parts of the fueling system, namely the wiring, is becoming more a necessity than a "lets just overbuild it" approach.
